Bronzekeg
I'm starting on another kit from the stash. I have a red one in my collection that I built many years ago so that color is out. going to build it factory stock. as usual all c&c are welcome. this particular kit I don't care for the box art, the pics on the instructions are much better. Zippi
This will be a nice build. When I think of the 70 Challenger from back in the day this one color always comes to mind.
Mike C.
I started that one a few years back. Never did finish it.
espo
MoPar offered a lot of in-your-face colors in that era. They also had a lot of others as well. Maybe study a color chart of their offerings to see what appeals to you.

charger74
I built it a year ago. I wanted to do a replica of a car i saw online. The stripes came out too glossy even if i put them on after the clear. I’m still happy with the result
Snake45
Just since this seems to be a "show and tell" thread.... I "rescued" a glue bomb last year; polished out the nice metallic burnt orange plastic. Turned out pretty nice but my photos didn't so I never posted it. Here's about the best of the cruddy pics.

Bronzekeg
I got started on the engine and glad there was very little chrome to strip. I still need to touch up the fan belt. enjoying the photos and comments, lots of ideas.
Bronzekeg
wheels and tires have been completed and ready to put on the chassis that I'm still working on.

Find a bright colored interior and if you're using stripes have them in a matching color to the interior. White is a very clean looking color and always looks good on a 1:1 when clean. My daily driver is a white '18 Charger GT with the spoilers painted to match.

Bronzekeg
I got the chassis painted with the engine and wheels mounted. working on the exhaust.
Bills72sj
I too always paint my chassis black. The Mopar purists would suggest body color overspray from the rockers in.

Bronzekeg
I got the exhausts drilled out and mounted that pretty much finished up the chassis. starting in on the interior now. it's going to be basic black.
