Built straight out of the box. I must say this kit went together very well, everything seemed to fit like it was supposed to and no surprises. AMT kits are beautiful but they are more ...challenging. Judging by your results tough, I am sure you are up to the challenge. Very nice build by the way. Details, paint job are very sharp , you made the right choice to paint the fuel tanks, the wheels and the exhaust system and keep the chromed bumper, it gives your model an authentic look !!
