re:the 90deg block, you can get "1,2,3-blocks" relatively cheap for working parallel and perpendicular lines/angles.

they are a basic machinist tool that is one inch by two inches by three inches; it's ferrous, so magnets can be used to secure parts.

Haven't worked on the front axle, yet... but have been planning how it will fit with the nose:

And, then onto the hood...

Found an old MPC '28 Ford PU hood that is just shy on the length; one piece; sturdy/solid... add a little to the leading edge!  Might just work!?. -KK

I dare say that when finished this model will be more epic than your Saltster…

That would be great 'cause this is what I started out to build when I built the Saltster!  Really!! I got sidetracked when it came to cutting into the '29 cowl. -KK

At this point I called it: '30 Something Saltster!

Yes....Rodney has it....this and the '25T Bucket (red box art illustration and similar kit box graphics) were the two original versions of this tool, first released in 1972.   And yes, this tool (or its many derivatives) is most likely the source of he front axle....TB

Man KK, the proportions on this are just so right! Great work on stuffing that V12 and blower in there, and your bellypan is a work of art. That's a perfect use for the Roaster hood ports too!

The '29 Track Nose Roadster K&R Slice-n-Dice Special has been an inspiration for my partner in crime to build his own "A" Liner!

We are known for our K&R Kustom+Rods builds that we collaborate on together... well the only part of this accomplishment that I played, was my work on the K&R Slice-n-Dice Special that inspired@Rocking Rodney Ratto build his '29 Roadster Lakester and listening to him build it over the phone a few weeks ago!  I'm stunned by the realistic appearance of this "A" Liner!

Now, let's get back to the progress on the K&R Slice-n-Dice Special:

NO PROGRESS to report! -KK
