Classicgas
This is a build of mine from the late 90s, maybe early 2000s. AMT'S 32 Chevrolet. It has yellowed a bit, painted with Testors light blue and enamel clear.
happy grumpy
That's a real beauty Lee. Although hot rods are cool I like to see a stock old classic in it's natural state. You certainly nailed this one. Nice engine details too. Great build.

Smoke Wagon
Nicely done Lee. Especially on that engine detailing. How did you make that inline fuel filter if you don’t mind me asking?

Great looking build; beautifully subtle color combo. Very well done! Looks like the modeler's ol' trick of using an electronic diode for both line and filter. Classicgas
Thanks guys. Rusty is correct, I used a diode. I don't know if it can be reissued. The tool morphed into a sedan delivery I believe then into the Dark Shadows Barnabas Collins Van. '70 Grande
Stunning build! Paint color choices are excellent! I'm curious what the chrome pieces at the top/rear corners of the hood represent; were they small running lights of some kind?
Classicgas
Thanks. You know I'm not sure what they were. Perhaps turn signals, I really don't know.

Plowboy
That's a very well done Chevy, Lee! One of the best examples of this kit that I've seen!
Eric Macleod
I really like this one. I can answer the questions about the lights. Those are cowl lamps also known as parking lights. Nearly all cars of the era had them. Great model in very nice colors.
Classicgas
Thanks guys, and thanks for the info on the lights.
