Miatatom
Sometimes the stuff in the kit just isn't what you want to put on the completed kit. I saw the post about Shapeways and wondered what are some good sources for tire and wheel sets?
64SS350
Fireball Modelworks, Scenes Unlimited, I just received some from this guy on ebay...jayswheelsandties1948 and they are top notch also.
Fat Brian
The best source really depends on what you're looking for. No one place caters to every style of wheel.

I...wondered what are some good sources for tire and wheel sets? If you don't have anything against eBay, go to their site and click on any random car model kit. At the top of the listing, you'll see Toys and Hobbies > Models and Kits > Automotive Click on Automotive. When that page opens, type "tires" in the search bar and click "Search" in the blue box. This is the current search result at 9:24 PM EST, Jan 20, 2022 (it will change every few minutes, as things are sold or listings roll-over). https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2499334.m570.l1313&_nkw=tires&_sacat=262320 Currently there are over 3700 listings for anything you could possibly want. Mike C.
Still can't find it. I don't really like those hooptie wheels anyway. Here is a member of this boards store Casey who I highly recommend https://www.ebay.com/sch/forward_resin/m.html?item=324996319131&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m3561.l2562 Edited January 21, 2022 by Mike C. I have a few from him you can't get anywhere else. Both Casey's and Fireball's mentioned above are top quality too. Fat Brian
One of my go to ebay stores is DiOlex Productions. The 3d printed bodies are a bit rough but everything else is nice. https://www.ebay.com/str/diolexproduction
mikemodeler
Depending on what type of tires and wheels you are looking for, another great source is Modelhaus Tires. Yes, Don's son has a business and offers up some really nice wheels and tires, great service and product.
89AKurt
All I want are the Pirelli CINTURATO™ CN36 found in the Fujimi Ferrari Daytona kit. Having one kit without tires is enough.

peteski
I found Jay's on eBay by looking for the seller's (not store) name jayswheelsandties1948 in eBay's advanced search. Here is his store: https://www.ebay.com/str/jaysfashions1948 As you can see, the store's name is different than the seller's name - IMO, not the optimal move on Jay's part.
