Monkeemobile

My first completed build of 2022, AMT's "Monkees-mobile" (kit #30259). Mostly box stock, with a few extra details like carpet, custom gauges, bigger rear tires, and a whole lot of BMF repair work. Paint is Tamiya Bright Mica Red over Italian Red, with custom decals I got from a fellow modeler several years back. A full writeup on the build is available here, and as always any comments/criticisms are welcome.

I never got into TV cars, but Ive always liked the Monkeemobile. Ive often thought about getting one and modifying it into something more my style

I've seen a couple of builds where they took the roof of a stock 66/7 GTO and grafted it onto this body, and it's really slick looking. If I find another one of these at a good price, I may attempt that as well.

SAME! Gives it that proper 60s era custom which I seem to be drawn too!  another option is to chop the windshield and change up the proportions on the roof. The thing I dislike most is how fake the motor is haha. I do love the header exits though.

Your build is one of the cleanest I've seen.  Again, beautiful job!!
