I know there used to be a resin company that made the front suspension pieces to convert the '84 GMC over to a 2WD version.......came with upper/lower control arms....coils...etc. etc..........

Another option would be to graft a front subframe from an AMT 70 Camaro kit, or use the front suspension from a '62 Impala kit.....If I remember right, both of those front ends are pretty detailed pieces, and you can easily "flip" the front spindles to lower the front down quite a bit..........The bed on that truck would be easily tubbed, it's just that you might have to fabricate the rear part of the frame to make it narrow enough to fit a shortend axle.........

I've been wanting to do the same thing, just haven't had the time.........Definitely keep us updated!!!!--------- :D

Alright, for the front you can just remove everything off of the frame and use a mustang II front crossmember and suspension. I think theres a good one in the 37 ford kit? Cant rmember correctly. On the rear, you will need to frabricate a new sub frame section. Ill PM you my mailing addy to send ya the pics I have, wich honestly is few, but should be help enopugh to get ya started. Thanks.
