1959scudetto
Whereas Lamborghini created the word "Supercar" with its Miura in 1966, they were also responsible for the ultimate supercar - the Countach. Presented by Bertone in 1971, production started finally in 1974 with the LP400. But the LP 400 S (1978 - 1982) put the term Ultimate Supercar to another level: different suspension geometry, ultra-wide wheels which required those characteristic wheel wells - the typical poster car for the 80's: Here are 2 versions of this one: the red one is from Fabbri's Quattroruote collection (2007), the same car was re-issued again in the 2013 Vintage Auto collection (this time in a metallic orange color) - both made by Ixo: Edited January 31, 2022 by 1959scudetto
keyser
Nice models. We need a Periscopo though in 1:24.
kilrathy10
I like that orange one for SURE!!!! The red is cool, but that orange just knocks your socks off... Wonderful models... I like the pop up headlights, too... I have the one from Bburago, I think... Don't quote me on that, though... That one is 1/25 scale... They say it's 1/24, but it ain't... It was cheap, so I can't complain... These are AMAZING!!!!

Gramps46
Oops, I missed these last week. I have always thought the Countach was the most aggressive Supercar of the '80s and these IXO models sure do it justice.
