Alway amazed by your realistic looking finishes. The sand pile is a great looking touch.

Thanks for following along David!

That's pretty cool, Mark.  Looks like it's seen a few Upstate New York (or maybe Colorado) winters.

Thanks James. Ya, New York really kills us with all that salt.

Very nice work and great job on the weathering. Love how you made the plow turn, the pile of sand in the back and realistic rust on the body.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

So am I! Mark really has an envious touch when it comes to weathering! They always look just right!

Thanks Roger but like I always say, it's just me doing a lazy paint job. I'm envious of you guys that can pull off these flawless paint jobs.

Nice work! Reminds me of the Jeep pickup my uncle would take hunting long ago. His had a 327 Chevy engine but similar patina.

Thanks Mike, There use to be plenty of them around here too but now they've all gone to that big junkyard in the sky.

Way cool.  There are 4WD vehicles like this all over the Colorado mountains.  Just needs chains on all 4 tires and it's all set.

Thanks Doug, I thought about building a set of chains for it but my eyes & fingers told me I better not.😏

Seems like the dog is hungry...

That Dog is always nosing around in that can, there must be something good in there.😁

Great work Mark! You always do such a fine job on weathering your projects.

Fantastic.   Where did you get the dog from?

Oh, and please feed the little guy,he must be starving!

Jerry

Thanks Jerry. I got the dog after Christmas one year when they had all the Christmas Village stuff on sale at Walmart. I think I paid a buck for it, cut the snow base off, repainted it and added some garbage to the can. Oh ya, I all most forgot. He gets fed everyday with the other dogs but he just wont stay out of the garbage!😉

Awesome!

Have a soft spot for these old Jeeps as I used to own a  J3000.

Thanks Chris, my friend had one like this in black when we were kids. We took it everywhere, it was a beast.
