1/8 agora Lamborghini Miura

The interior door panel is quite good. Maybe even elegant. One head is partially finished. Metal. Fit is excellent. Wanted to detail the head but I have to build out of box. If I was taking a long trip, the Lamborghini would be a better drive than the cobra. This is the ultimate GT car.

Where do you get one of these?

Agora will have it soon. This is not a prototype but a ready to go kit. I’m assembling it for agora to see any issues. So far it’s great. You have to model it a little. Like drill holes a little bigger. I have used glue to hold some parts. Supposed to be pressed fit,  but I suggested to use a little glue. This car is complex. I’m very impressed with it so far. But there are people going to complain about something. A lot of these guys are not modelers that buy these kits. So sometimes they are a little confused. The modelers on this forum are pretty good builders and would have no problem with this kit. I’m building it out of box to see if there are any issues. So far I’m very impressed. Check out this engine, still not completed but looks great so far.

Here are the air cleaners I’m going to leave them off for awhile. It just looks too cool without them. I will put them on later

Thanks to both of you. I’ve never had one of these 1/8 “subscription” kits. It may be time to try one. I think the Miura is just beautiful.

LDO I will let you know when this comes out. April is the time of introduction. Here are pics of the engine completed. Out of box. Pretty cool engine that’s stock.

Beautiful looking engine.

Hello Ray. How’s the cobra? Hope it’s going great for you. Thank you but it’s all the kit. I just assembled it. No mods. Here is a pic of the clutch spring and arm. Which is covered. They did not have to put the spring in , but they did. Really nice. The last pic is what little the spring is showing. You probably cannot see it when the engine is in the car. I’m impressed with this kit. You have to model it a little , but a great kit.

I have not started the Cobra yet, I want to clear out some other projects first plus I think I will buy a large folding table so I have room to build that monster.

Good looking kit and project. Super that the air cleaners can be removed to show the carbs. What is the length of the model?

Thanks

Hello rrb124@sbcglobal.net. I really do not know yet , but about 20” is about right. My cobra is 19” so it’s at least that.

Thank you. I’m not sure I’ll take the plunge. I have other expensive hobbies, plus a goal of paying off my house, but wow…

Yes sir , it is a very expensive kit. I understand about other hobbies and life itself, but if you can, this kit is pretty cool.

Installed rear brakes ,sway bar over flow tank, supports and fuel filter. Hooked up fuel lines. You have to model this just a little. Some parts are pressed fit but I glue them. Have to file some parts to fit. And make some holes a little bigger for fit. I believe the beginner would have a little difficulty with this kit. But the guys here on this forum will not have a problem at all. For a stock , out of box build, this kit is really nice. The Lamborghini company had less than 100 people when this car was designed and built. And the guys who designed the Miura, were under 30 years old. Absolutely incredible.

Great looking engine. I know you have a remit to build OOB, but the temptation to hit it with some wash and weathering must be almost irresistible.

Thank you Bainford. Yes I would love to detail the Miura a little. My friend that’s helping Agora said that people would complain that ( mine does not look like that!). So this is why it’s stock. I wanted to paint it different also, but no go. After a year or so I can change it. Sooo this is why it’s oob. Here is the dash and interior so far. I’m missing a couple of packs of parts. So we are on hold till they come.
