wayne00
Archer water slide rivets. Do they need a glossy surface, or can they be applied directly to the primer? I have done some research and it seems to be the best way to deal with the seam on the Freightliner COE. Thanks Rog😁
SfanGoch
You can apply them directly on primed surfaces.
raisin27
Just tried some myself. They worked fine over primer. I did use setting solution.
Sledsel
I have used them over primer also. I used the O scale 5/8 rivets on my Freightliner and wish I had used the 7/8 rivets.
wayne00
Thank for the info! One of the videos I watched said to use the G scale 5(8 rivets. He said it was almost a perfect match for the kit rivets. Thanks agin. Rog😁
wayne00
Another question? Do you have to cut close to the rivets or will primer hide the edge of the carrier just fine? Thanks Rog😁

Should have the same results as using their rivets. Before paint, note the edges of the decal, especially at the sides. And then after one coat of primer and 2 coats of paint. The line disappears
