I don't do the limited time or special edition game so as I expand I continue to dig myself in deeper. But as I said I am going full time and hopefully I will make ends meet. I understand I will be doing a lifestyle change, but there's more to life than money. Here's to more than a job to make a life!!! Congratulations. 1
Mr. Metallic Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 @Ace-Garageguy thought you'd be interested in this since you started that "ultimate SOHC 427" thread awhile back. I can attest that their offerings are top notch. https://tx3dcustoms.com/products/ford-427-sohc-hilborn-injected 1 2

Finks Garage Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Here is my finished Baja VW using the Texas 3D Customs transkit offered. I used it on the Tamiya bug as I like it better than the Revell kit. 5

Not sure if it was meant to be, but I found an extra set of long-tube Hilborn injectors and manifold with mine. Already had the short-tube injected engine, so now I can go crazy with some mid-60's Ford drag cars.
Mike C. Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 I'm trying to order the Jackman wheel set and the engine, but I can only find the rear Jackmans on the site. What gives ?????

Mike C. Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 I keep checking the site, but I can't find the stinger exhaust or the winch bumpers.

Winch bumpers aren't done The stinger exhaust is in the upgrade section if you click on the plus button it'll bring up 572 and Volkswagen Porsche I think and then the singer exhaust is in there, you can also use the search bar and just type in stinger it'll pull up Edited February 6, 2023 by Texas_3D_Customs 1

Must have gone to spam, but the drag wheels come with tires and are not separately available.
Nicholas Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Ok then what is the overall OD of tires mounted on rims for the welds v series? And how wide?

Hi Charles....question for ya Buddy. You say the 1/24 engines look fine in the 1/25 models. From what I have seen, they just look out of proportion, at least to me. So is it possible the engines can be printed in 1/25 scale? Doesn't hurt to ask huh?

So I am just going to state the facts, 1:24 vs 1:25 for a whole engine with a transmission is usually a difference of 2mm in length total and a width of 0.7-1mm depending on the style like OHV vs Push Rod. I find it very hard to believe that 2mm the width of a pencil lead over the whole length of a powertrain is what is making it look out of proportion. 1
