Kah puts
OMG they look marvelous, I had no idea that AMT put so much detail into their 1\43 scale line, bravo.

Phirewriter
They both look great! Nice to see the AMT 43rd scale kits built up that nice. If any of the the molds still exist it would be nice to see Round2 reissue this line of kits. Edited March 29, 2022 by Phirewriter

espo
Both excellent looking builds. The Comet especially shows just how nice one of the old kits can look with attention to clean detailing as seen here.
bh1701
The little Thunderbird looks really great! ... and also the Comet!
Maindrian Pace
Both beautiful, and as the owner of a '60 Comet wagon, those cars always get my attention.

Rodent
I have the 1/43 Chevelle and Torino. They are really nice little kits and would probably sell OK if the molds are still around. If they weren't $30.
ChrisR
Looks great!
Can-Con
Both are fantastic. Shows you don't need a 300 piece super detailed kit to build a great looking model.
rsmodels
I can't believe all the comments. Thanks again, guys! I'll be posting more builds as right now I have the time. Rich

unclescott58
I love these old AMT kits. My folks had a real/full size ‘61 Comet they bought brand new when I was a kid. It was dark blue with same color interior as in your model. In fact, I’m impressed with how good of a job you did on the interior of you kit. From what I remember your kits interior looks exactly like our Comet’s. I love the T-Bird too. I love almost all Thunderbirds. And I love those 1/43 scale kits AMT issued back in the late 60’s. I agree about the 1/43 kits AMT made. They did a great job on them and the 1/32 series too. -Rich
