1959 Buick Flat Top

This is a resin model  I bought a while ago that was built.   I wasn't happy with it so took it apart, stripped it, and completely rebuilt it. I like the looks of these flat tops and have a couple of others I'll be posting at some point.  I finished this one  last week. I'm partial to 4 door cars and wagons so you will be seeing more coming up.  But there will be 2 door cars too.

Thanks for looking!

Good looking Buick. It's nice to see these alternative body styles. The gold & white work well with this body. Nicely done.

On another note, I have now discovered the reason for the world Avanti shortage.

Thanks Trevor. About the Avantis, they are leftovers from a project I was involved in when I worked manufacturing 1/43 white metal models in the 80's. These are samples I painted back then. I hope to finish them if I live long enough. I still  have parts for 1-200 of these.
