They are plastic, though they do look like the Parks caps.

Amt 68 & early issues of 69 Chevelles. They were the custom hubcaps for the rally wheels. Not sure what issue they were deleted from but they have not been in the kit for a long time. 

For sure they are not in the 1987 issue with the white car on the box art. Or any issue since.

Thanks Chris. I checked a later issue of the '69 Chevelle (blue car on box) and they weren't in there.

Check the AMT '70 and '72 Chevelles too. IIRC, there was a stray one left on the tree in one or both of those kits.

Mike, if you can't find a plastic one, I have an unpainted resin one you can have. You'd need to put your chrome of choice on it.

I have this issue and checked it earlier today. It has 2 of those on the chrome tree.

Thanks Mike and Steve, I may have found one locally from a friend. If it isn't the right one, I'll be back to ask very nicely to have one sent over.
