55 Chevy Pro Street

I finally got this one finished.  I had trouble with this build from the beginning with the red paint all the way to the end loosing the red lens taillights and then I stepped on the lens frames.  I think it turned out pretty good with all the issues I had.  The body was painted with Rust-Oleum Flat White Primer and cleared with Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear Lacquer.  It was then wet sanded and polished.  The chassis, engine, and wheels & tires are from the AMT 67 Chevelle Pro Street kit.  I opted not to use an alternator so this ol boy will have to head back home after a run and charge the battery.  That's what I did back in the day.  I also used an electric fan instead of a mechanical one.

Beautiful looking build. I like the clean looking white color. Enjoyed watching all the detailing you did on the engine and chassis.

Thanks Dave.  Much appreciated.

Maybe the first 55 I've seen in white paint, and it really looks good and sharp.

Great detailing everywhere, a joy to look closely.

Thanks you sir.  I appreciate the kind words.

Wow Bob, this one is a looker. The trim beautifully contrasts with the white. Always nice to see what you come up with.

Thanks Mario.  I do appreciate it Buddy
