1974 Plymouth Road Runner

Recommended Posts

Just finished up this morning my build of MPC'S 1974 Plymouth Road Runner. For an older kit went together pretty well. Like most older kits has it's issues, can be built it into a nice replica though.

Built it pretty much box stock, wanted an easy build and this one delivered.

Nice color choices, and a nice overall build. Simple kits can be fun, AND can look very presentable, as you've shown! We need a better version of this body style; they're under-appreciated in my book. Good to know this one can be made to look quite good.

Thanks pal and I agree, it's a decent kit but the tooling is way too old now. It can definitely use some updating.

Great job on this one Jason ! There's nothing wrong with these early MPC kits , they build up nice and easy and look great on the shelf .

Looks great nice touch with white interior..

Thanks pal, was going to go with all white till I seen one on Google with black floor and dash and liked the look of that.

Beautiful RR. I too, like MPC kits, what they lack in details, they made up by subject mater, back then they had a nice variety and their bodies were very well rendered. Orange and white stripes suit it well. What's not to like ?. Nice job.

They did have a great variety of subjects to build back then, thank you.
