Dutzie
The build was a bear for sure. I thought the truck was headed to the shed for a few years a couple of times. There were several setbacks and some vacation time but the build is finally finished. Turned out better than I expected.
TruckerAL
Looks fantastic! But one critique, the steps are on the wrong side of the cab. They need to be flipped!

angelo7
Outstanding job. I have this kit with the BJ decals too. How did you do the pointed-down (curbed) red part at the front so they could match the black stripes? Edited May 30, 2022 by angelo7

I traced the decals onto tracing paper, transferred that to a piece of low tack tape and applied to the truck. Make a couple photo copies of the decal sheet.

spencer1984
Beautiful work on this! Is it the AMT or Revell Kenworth?
1959scudetto
This has to be the amt version (small bumper, non-opening cab doors) with a shortened frame, isn't it? Anyway, the typical 70's paint-scheme looks stunning !
Jim Whalen
Great build - these old AMT truck kits don't fall together like some modern kits do but with some work they can look really good as you have managed to do with your model.
