Saltie Olds
I just figured out what the main color is going to be, now to figure out the secondary color, probably will be black. I’m going to use the Left Hand Drive dash, from the Tamiya Supra, the black one I just did titled Project Shadow, and the tires from that same kit. I’m going to get a different set of wheels for the car as well. So it’ll be a while before I’m able to get the wheels, unless I could get a set of Revell Ferrari Testarossa wheels to work. Saltie Olds
Here’s a couple pictures of the car just sitting on the wheels and tires and one of just the wheels and tires. Thinking about going with a different style of wheel though.
Saltie Olds
Here’s the wheels I’m thinking about getting for this project. I can’t decide on a style I like best. The style that gets 5 likes or interests will be going on the car.Wheel #1Wheel #2Wheel #3Wheel #4Wheel #5Wheel #
stitchdup
I'd go for the 16" volk six spokes, the others will be far too big for the wheel arches

Sandboarder
Either the 16” TE37’s or the R32 GT-R wheels IMO. The 19” TE37’s would look like a Summernats car.

Saltie Olds
So here are some pictures of my car. I did a Testors Black Chrome base color and then Testors Turquoise Waters color. The first four pictures were taken before the second four pictures.

Saltie Olds
Temporary set of wheels, for my AE86 Levin. I’ll use these until I could get a set of those other wheels, unless I really like the way these look on the car.
Saltie Olds
Getting the windows taken care of. Now I just need to cut off the door windows and I’ll be done with them, except for doing the detail painting.
Saltie Olds
Does anyone know how I’d wire the distributor, on the 4A GE engine? I know the firing order is 1-3-4-2, but where does the wire from the middle of the cap go?
Leica007
The center post on a distributor is usually the wire to the an ignition coil, hope your kit included that part. If not you can make one easily.
Pierre_tec
Nice project, and nice shine also.

Saltie Olds
Here’s a mock up of my car. The wheels & tires are only going to be used until I’m able to get those white wheels I’m wanting for this car.
Saltie Olds
Here’s a picture of the interior and the engine. I’m attempting to convert the dash to be left hand drive. When I can, I’ll be getting another one of these kits and get the Initial D version of this kit, and use some parts from that one, on the other one like this.
