Seems the orange plastic had a hard time releasing from the dies on my kit and the sprue cuts were a bit harsh. I'll have a few repairs to make. bluestringer Posted June 9, 2022 Author Share Posted June 9, 2022 Thanks guys. Mine is the orange plastic. I plan on painting it Createx Opaque Red over a base coat of Autoborne White Sealer. Hope that will keep it from bleeding. I've started on the engine, but it's very hot here in South Georgia and my work shed has no AC, so build time is going to be limited. I made the mistake of installing the rear axle before the exhaust, had to remove and replace. Why are these AMT and Revell kits so hard to get the frame and body to fit together without breaking off a bunch of parts you just spent 2 weeks putting together. It's frustrating.
