I thought you might like these. It's the 1970s kenworth paintbook, Pete 359 paintbook, 1980 GMC General and Astro, GMC Astro paintschemes from the 1970s, 1980 Chevy Titan, and 1978 F700 Mack. These aren't all that out of date, since I have seen modern day W900s, 378s, and 379s painted like these trucks here. I hope you enjoy them and can use them.

Here is the Kenworth K100/K123:

These are for the W900/W925:

Hope you enjoyed them. As I find more of these, I will post. Then again, if you have design patterns to share, feel free to add to the list. I would love to see how many of these we can get up here.

While cruising Tim Ahlborn's website, I noticed he took the time to add further to the reference material he already offers those who visit. If you are interested in paint schemes for the Peterbilt 352 cabover, click on the link below, then scroll to the very bottom of the page. There are 5 pages from the Peterbilt paintbook. All for the 352. Tim, thank you for all the reference photos you have provided on your website. They are a real help to those who visit.

I have here some line drawings for Kenworth K100s. There is a blank can, as well as the "Salem"(think BJ and the Bear) and "Lexington" paint schemes. The "Salem" stripes can be obtained through JBOT.

Now these should be helpful. In the '80s, it seems that AMT/ERTL/Matchbox made their instruction sheets in a way that they fit nicely in a 3 ring binder. Each has a nice line drawing of the truck's right side on the cover. So I scanned and cropped these pix. They should be actual size(in comparison to the plastic cab/hood/sleeper) Just print, and draw your stripe patterns.

As far as the stripes shown in the pix, they are the kit stripes for each kit . They could be edited out.

Ok. It's been awhile since I've added to this page. Here are some cool Brockways, a Diamond Reo, and for those of us with International 9670 kits from KFS or SourKraut, a pattern for that truck as well.

Brockway 761

Same colors as the now defunct West Coast Truck Line. Nice paintjob.

I've never seen this cab(same as Mack F and Hayes) with the chrome fenders. I think it looks nice.

The sleeper is just like the one from AMT's KW W925. Nice Seminole Stripe pattern.

Lately I've been seeing lots of Ford WT9000s being built or scratchbuilt on the various forums. So here's one from the 1974 brochure. The same page is in the 1977 brochure.

These look very nice.

Bulldog twins and triplets. I thought these Macks looked cool together.

The Kenworth K100 Club has posted a K100 paintbook with schemes and color patches. Check it out. I think there will be more added as time passes. Late 70s/early 80s paint schemes.

(This site has gone down, so I will post the pix of the K100 paintbook for your use).

WOW! It only took me 2 years since the first message was posted in this thread for me to find it.

I am Jim, the owner/operator of JBOT DECALS.

I see there are lots of drawings here for different truck striping packages. And I see Tim Ahlborn is here too.

HI TIM!

Anyway, I just wanted to let all of you know that I am back. I have expanded my truck striping options. They are all available here: http://www.jbot.ca/trucks.shtml

You are welcome to write to me if you have a special truck striping request.

Thank you!

Jimbo
