gasserfreak
Finished this 66 GTO last night. Came out OK. I could be happier with the foiling and paint. Built it for my mom. Long story but her dream car was/is a 66 GTO. Yeah mom is alright. real decent kit, but I just can't seem to get these muscle cars 'right' like so many I see on here! Simon
Looks great! The dark colour shows off those nice lines. Not sure why you're not happy with the paint though
gasserfreak
Looks great! The dark colour shows off those nice lines. Not sure why you're not happy with the paint though the lower rear qtrs are not as smooth as I'd like and I noticed too late.... yeah I've painted too many 1:1 cars and am a little crazy about body work.... plus I saw this thread last week about the time I was assembling this and my jaw hit the floor: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=17136 wow! I do like a black GTO though.
fordh8r
From the pictures, I think it looks pretty good. If you're dissatisfied with the finish for any reason you can easily just build another one to make up for it. Just remember to have fun with it no matter the outcome.
