Hood scoop

You could cut that from a plastic spoon! The custom scoop in the AMT '63 Impala is a nice low-rise design. It has raised ribs along the top edges you could easily file flat, and because it tapers back to nearly flat, you could shape it any way you need. Maybe someone has something that will work "right out of the box", but I can't think of anything. Do you have a better picture of the scoop?

A couple of long-gone kits did include Slant Six speed equipment.  The Revell '62 Mopar compacts (Valiant and Lancer), and the AMT XR-6.  The intake on the Duster wouldn't be too tough to cut from a thick sheet of styrene, rather than look for parts that may or may not fit the engine being used.

That is a cool 1:1 Duster, but it looks like those header pipes (if that are what is hanging down in front of the tires) would catch the devil crossing speed bumps.  Anyway, looking forward to your build of this different machine.

The AMT '64 Belvedere kit has the stock slant 6 option.

Actually I've changed my mind. Mods please delete.

Even though it's no longer needed, for future reference there is a nearly identical scoop in AMT's '69 Falcon Modified Stocker kit, where it is used for driver cooling and is mounted on the roof!
