jdcar32
Hello, a few years ago I sent Tom Coolidge a partially finished 1958 Pontiac sedan as a gift, one of his resin kits. Wondering if it ever turned up anywhere, and also wondering what became of Tom. He was ( is? ) a credit to the hobby. Thank you. Jon
john sharisky
I don't have an answer for you but I didn't want to see your post not responded to. I have 171 saved e-mails from Tom from between November 2007 to May 2013. After which my messages to him were no longer responded to. I believe a work-related injury was becoming more and more problematic for him. This from his last e-mail to me I think is prescient in light of the current 3D printing craze: "If I have a claim to fame it's that my stuff mostly doesn't need donors and it has plated parts. I sell two '50 Olds "body only" variants that require a donor, but the donor provides the chrome. Anything I make where there is no donor, I provide the chrome."
