JollySipper
Hello, guys! I have been asking questions about what will be a project hopefully soon...... The Coyote X supercar. I'll need to source the wheels, somehow. They're the Champ wheels from the '80s (they look like my avatar pic!). Were these available at all in a kit? The ones on the Coyote are super deep, and staggered, I think........ Seems the rears are wider. I could possible sleeve a kit wheel to get the depth, if they were ever in a kit........ Thanks for any help!
gman
The Revell "Hot Rod" series '29 Ford from 1986 came with a set. The caveat with these is the chrome was usually horrible, with lots of flash on most parts- not a banner period for Revell.
Force
They are also in a couple of versions of the Revell Monogram 39 Chevy Coupe.
Fat Brian
The 39 Chevy wagon is getting reissued so fresh sets should be available soon.
gman
I forgot about the Monogram kit- similar era, better chrome QC (provided 1/24th is good for you).

I'm not sure the Champ wheels were in the 39 Chevy Delivery Wagon, I know it had Magnum 500 style wheels and Low Rider wire rims but I have no recollection of any other wheels in that kit. But the Coupe for sure had them.

Ace-Garageguy
I have a set from the Monogram Chevy, still on the tree. They're all the same depth, but they're yours if you want them. Look for a PM
Daryl Romain
I got these from Steven Zimmerman. He is on FB, makes and sells wheels.
JollySipper
Those look "wheel" good! I've seen a lot of Zman wheels here on the board, they always look like a quality piece..... First I've seen of those, though.... Thanks!
