GLMFAA1
Now that Atlantis has brought back the Monogram Mack AC bulldog logging truck is there any chance that someone could 3d or cast a set of pneumatic tires and rims to modernize the trucks? greg
Jim B
Didn't AITM have those or just wheels to back-date it?

Ace-Garageguy
Depending on exactly what you're modeling, there are multiple wheel / tire combinations possible... Edited August 1, 2022 by Ace-Garageguy
Oldmopars
So, maybe one of the 6 spoke styles. The other disk types already exist in other kits.
Jim B
The "log train" is interesting.
stavanzer
If you look closely at the Disc Wheels, you will see that they are unique to the Mack. AITM used to make some resin Wheels that were a direct Drop Fit. Foolishly, I never bought any.
GLMFAA1
This is what I am after: Using Yat Ming Mack and Monogram AC front. Front would be 5 spoke w/o brakes and rear would hold dual tires. The pictures are Danbury Mint 1/32 scale and Yat Ming Mack pumper which has front brakes on rim. greg Edited August 2, 2022 by GLMFAA1 added info
stavanzer
I don't know if I have ever seen 5 spoke rims on a Mack. Almost all the Mack's I've seen has 6 spoke, Cast Rims. I question the diecast truck. But, not having seen the One-to-One of the Mack, I cannot be sure.
Jim B
I guess the next logical question is, are there any spoke wheels to back date the 1926 Mack AC to a 1918: Yes, it's really towing a U-boat (UC-5):
stavanzer
Try the RPM 1/72 Scale Mack Truck. It has the wheels you are looking for. At least, you would have a start to scratch building your own. https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/rpm/kit_rpm_72401.shtml (You're on going to have to Wing It for the 1/24 scale Sub)
