I too have a black one, but with red steels and white walls and the look is completely different! I have also tackled an Aussie 39 sloper but getting the rear window correct is a challenge. Having owned a 1:1 '46 Ford sedan many years ago I appreciate their body shapes as well. Lots of back seat leg room. Might think about a black wash on the grill to bring out the grill details. Brianl Posted September 5, 2022 Author Share Posted September 5, 2022 Thanks for the good comments I did do a black wash on the grill but for some reason it hasn't shown up on the photos. Too much reflection from the chrome maybe. Paint was Tamiya rattle can grey primer with 2 coats of gloss black then a polish with Tamiya polishing compound.
