Fabulous job on this gasser. I’m particularly impressed with the fuel line plumbing, the belts/pulleys, the use of paint metallizers on the wheels and engine area, the paint, the ghost-free decals, the smooth foil work that doesn’t look like foil. Pretty much a perfect build and one of the best Willys gassers I’ve seen posted anywhere.

What Eduards PE set did you use? Is it one intended for one of the 1/24 Airfix  or Trumpeter fighters? Great idea.

Wow. I’m humbled. Thank  you so much for your kind words. The seat belts are part number 23002 from Eduard. USAF & USN WWII early 1/24.  The belt material is painted masking tape.

One of the finest Willys gassers I've seen. Outstanding detailing, especially the period correct details. Wonderfully clean work, too. Very impressive.

What did you use for the plug wire boots at the valve covers?

Thank you for your kind words. The spark plug boots and the tire valve stems are from Norm at Miniatures of Maryland.

Despite repeating others, all I can say is WOW!!! This build is beautiful...almost beyond belief! (But I do believe!) This is a level of craftsmanship that one can only aspire to...

Thanks so much. Your comment is greatly appreciated.

Alot of effort put into this build. The engine detail is very convincing. The interior is really well done and is a unseen highlite of this build that is not seen after assembly. Excellent paint work everywhere. Super build right down to the weights on the driveshaft!
