dawgvet
So the few pics I’ve seen of the real NASCAR Next Gen cars seem to have the chassis painted a light grey instead of white. Anyone know what shade of light grey would work best?
Fabrux
Tamiya AS-20 Insignia White
dawgvet
Thank you! I used the Tamiya Insignia White and it turned out great! Wasn’t sure if it would be grey enough but looks spot on! Edited October 9, 2022 by dawgvet
Fabrux
The molding factory matched the injected pigment in the kit to that specific colour. 🙂
bigryan18
It's actually still light gray, I've seen close up pics of the real car
espo
A color I used to use on NASCAR builds was Tamiya AS-7 Natural Grey (USAAF). May seem a shade darker to some, but closer to the 1:1 cars I have had an opportunity to see in person.
