M W Elky
This build is mostly box stock with the addition of parts box front wheels rear slicks, headers from the 69 Torino , and smp decals. This was a nice easy fun to build kit. Thanks amt for putting it back on the shelves. As always thanks for looking 👀 ,  Mike Edited October 24, 2022 by M W Elky Spelling

papajohn97
Nice clean build Mike on this R code racer. I really like the side profile slightly jacked-up look you achieved in the front stance, did you use the lower front axle holes provided in the kit chassis or did you have to adjust them? Some kits tend to be too jacked up IMO, yours looks just right. Just when I thought I had all the mid-sixties SS kits I would ever want, now I gotta look for one of these! M W Elky
Hi John, yea I just flipped the spindles there were no other suspension mod’s. It’s always real important to me to get the right stance . You have a sharp eye to notice that thanks for the nice complements , Mike
R. Thorne
I just ordered this kit yesterday from Hobbylobby on sale at $17.99. Â Is this the kit you used? Â Uhhh, you might want to edit the title to Ulrey Bros. Â Sorry, my ocd kicked in. Â Nice job.

Chevy II
Have this one in the que for building. What color white did you use for the exterior? Nice build.
M W Elky
I think it was a light ivory color that I picked up from lowes or home depo with testors clear coat. Tamyia makes a color called racing white that might look close to this. I think the real car was a real pale yellow almost ivory. Ever since the collapse of testors and the pandemic some colors of spray paint have been hard to get.
stavanzer
I never thought of this as a Drag Racer. Cool Build!
M W Elky
Ford built these 427 fairlanes just for super stock. Billy gooche made Hubert platt decals for a different version which is harder to build with the addition of the side trim and vinyl top thanks for the nice complement, mike
stavanzer
I always wanted to build one as a Mayberry RFD car. I've got an original kit put away for that. I just need decals and a Gumball Light.

Brutalform
Its nice to see this car built. Great build on a great subject. I’ve tossed around the idea of purchasing the decals and building this car quite a few times. Very nice job on the build.
