1978 Ford Bronco - Cruisaire

Recommended Posts

Finished this one last week.  It was a rebuilder from the AMT Wild Hoss Kit, I started it back before the kit was re-issued.  I built it as a replica to the Montana Broncos owned 1978 Cruisaire Bronco.  Coyote Swapped, Wheels and Tires from Z ForceModel Worx.

Thanks for looking!

Way cool, I love everything about it. The color, the graphics, the weathering, the tires, the grab handles and especially the upholstery pattern. Looks just like the real one would've had!

But I gotta wonder, how did the guy have such immaculate seats when the rest got so raggedy? It's probably in mid-restoration, right?

Also, my question.

Very nice work! What are the wheels and tires from?

This is based off an actual 1:1 Bronco owned by a guy in Montana.  It is referred to as the Cruisaire Bronco because it has cruisaire emblems on the rear below the beltline.  The stripe patterns were a kit you could buy back in the day.

The wheels and Tires are from Ryan Jones at ZForceModel Worx

What  great build! I like the Worn outside contrasting with the new inside.

Who (or what ) is Cruisaire Bronco?

Here is the actual 1:1 Bronco. I thought his interior looked really good so I didn't try to give it a weathered and worn look.
Thank you all for the comments.
