Texas Builder

Hello, name is Matt Gall, a mid-40's builder in the Houston Texas area.  I'm looking to learn more and meet network with others in the hobby.  I've been building on and off most of my life, with lots of time off in between, working on my education, career and raising a family.  I've been building more often over the last couple years and have really enjoyed this hobby.  So, group of friends and myself started a group on Facebook called "The Build Lab", where we build live with whomever would like to join in on the fun.  It has been great to help motivate each other, share tips & tricks, all while building in a social group format!  I know it's not for everybody, but I've really and enjoyed it and....  NO MORE building alone for me.  haha

Anyway, thought I'd introduce myself, say hello and share a couple of my builds.

Welcome we have our club meeting 7pm tonight ck us out  IPMS HAMS on line

To clear up any confusion on how Jack wrote this... 🙂

The Houston Automotive Modelers Society (IPMS-HAMS) meets on the second Friday of each month. Our web site is:
https://www.ipms-hams.org

However, two things you need to know:

1. December will be our Holiday Dinner at a restaurant, instead of a regular meeting.

2. Our regular meeting location will change starting in January. I have not yet (as of typing this reply) added that info to our club web site. (I guess I will try to get that info up sometime tomorrow.)

Anyway, check out our web site and come on by to our January meeting.

You might like my current build on the bench....  still debating on MegaTruck or MudTruck....  TBD

Yes, I saw it in the mock-up thread. That is what led me to your introductory post. A little extreme for my tastes…but it is a truck!😎 It looks like you must have a 3d printer?

I hear yeah and yes, lots of 3D printing.  I plan to build a few more Bronco's, but pretty sure this one will have steerable Rockwell axles under it once I'm done designing and printing them.  Printing has taken kit bashing to an entirely new level.
