raisin27
A little out of my comfort zone as I have not done many NASCAR Cup cars. This is going to be the 1956 Southern 500 winner, Curtis Turners 56 Ford Customline. Got the body painted and decaled got rid of the molded in exhaust on the chassis.
Shark
Looking good. Definitely will be following this one as I want to do either Fireball's or Turner's 56 Ford.

raisin27
The powerful Y block V8 is just about done along with the chassis. Just need to make some shocks. and a few small motor details.

Pierre Rivard
That's a beautiful build. The body colors and trim look extra crisp. This should be a great model.
Joe Nunes
Very nice progress on this model. I really enjoy looking at these older race cars and yours is a winner in the making. 👌 Joe
raisin27
Well I just couldnt convince myself that the body turned out good enough so I did another one. Found a sedan body and turned it into a hardtop with the roof from an AMT 56 Ford. Painted, foiled and decaled it yesterday. Clearcoat tomorrow.

raisin27
I can see the finish line now. Got the interior done and she is up on the wheels now. I need to detail the engine compartment and the final body trim pieces.

Pierre Rivard
Looks very very good. It's been a while since we've seen an early NASCAR build and hoping more will come.
