32 Deuce

Just finished this one. I thought I'd  go full fendered to be a little different. The fenders are smoothed units from RMoM, as are the door panels, seat and radiator. Like some others here, I wanted a different engine, and settled for one from Tamiya's 300ZX. Surprisingly, it fit pretty good. Just had to modify the engine mounts. The cone filters came from AMT's '41 woody. Small extensions from the exhaust manifold the  to the pipes were all It needed. Tires, wheels & exhaust tips are from the Copperhead concept. Suspension is OOB. Shifter, pedals and out board mirror from the parts box. Gas tank was removed & a roll pan was scratched. Tail lights also came from20230420_150519.thumb.jpg.9d7d4ae101e035e4c585cd7b13927eff.jpg20230420_150537.thumb.jpg.17a6774db97c2e1026e5984a728c56ab.jpg20230420_150552.thumb.jpg.038a058f53dbab51e0e7f576fb41b0b1.jpg20230420_150236.thumb.jpg.8760f000753a9b13436e9a3cafa474eb.jpg the parts box. Paint is Testors lacquers, purplelicious & white lightning. Primer is Mr Surfacer 1000. First time I've used it, great stuff. I had a lot of fun with this build. Except for a few minor paint issues, I think it came out pretty nice. Thanks for looking. 20230420_150251.thumb.jpg.eb14a5e8a5ad49677c3ab5d249d53a17.jpg20230420_150329.thumb.jpg.bf2551200fcbb824a4285dc45267bf0c.jpg20230420_150343.thumb.jpg.4282d7722ae00594e9265e64a829e1ad.jpg20230420_150446.thumb.jpg.21171772f727ad0def01a3ca5004fa74.jpg20230420_150458.thumb.jpg.e83673b18516de84f22aefc9d8a80314.jpg20230420_150508.thumb.jpg.ec1e3508163ca6891ce13aba8b944767.jpg

Nice looking 32.  I like it with the fenders.  That color looks just right for a Deuce.  I'm working on a Monogram 32 and the interior just doesn't fit right.

Nice 32 John. Engine choice is out there but works well on this build. Colours look great and the flames add a cool focus point. Wheel choice suits this model and interior is spot on. Well done.

Cheers,

David. 😎👍
