iamsuperdan
I have a few kits that I'll never get to. Acquired these as part of a collection last year. Going through the bins, so will be adding to this thread. Looks like almost every kit needs an engine. No idea where they all have gone. Anyway, here's the first few... If you want more detailed pics of any of these, let me know, and I'll take a bunch for you. Monogram Ram VTS - kit is missing the engine and transmission. Everything else appears to be there. AMT 1988 Dodge Daytona - some of the worst box art I've ever seen! Anyway, this one was definitely started, and it looks like the previous owner was turning it into one of the IROC Daytonas or something similar. Kit looks complete, but body has obviously been modified. Lots of additional parts from some sort of NASCAR kit, plus a bunch of styrene that has seen some cutting and gluing. Includes some of his sketches for his plan. AMT Baldwin Camaro - I'd keep this one, but I have a complete one to build already. This one is missing the engine/transmission, seats, and wheels/tires. Has 2 extra hoods though. Revell Ford Foose FD100. This one has been started and heavily modified by the previous owner. Hood has been cut to incorporate an intake. Rear fenders have been significantly widened. Has a bunch of extra parts, like a 2nd box, extra grilles, engine parts. Also has several Clearly Scale engine pieces, such as superchargers, intakes, belts, etc. Foose wheels and tires are still there. Kit appears to be complete, plus the extra parts. I've considered keeping this one and finishing it myself. Would like to see someone finish this one. Revell 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 Drag Car - there are two parts cars here. Missing some things, duplicates of things, extra pieces too. Will include the Revell Pro Street Thunderbird parts kit I have here too. Honda VTEC engine - this is a resin kit, very nicely detailed, partially assembled, appears to be complete. I'm not sure what brand it is. MPC Toyota Supra - the original issue of the kit. This one is a development kit, with a ton of modifications. Includes a Clearly Scale engine/trans. It's a supercharged V8, I think for a Ford? Maybe an LS, not sure. Interior tub has been modified, extra resin wheels and other resin parts included. I think there's enough here to build a complete car. All mods done by previous owner of kit. A bunch of Mopar stuff. Three Viper kits - no engines or wheels, looks like everything else is there. MPC Omni 024 - looks complete, might not be. Nothing broken or damaged. Revell 70 Hemi Cuda - no engine, i think everything else is there. AMT 1969 Plymouth GTX - Going to assume no engine. Revell '68 Charger RT - definitely missing some items, will have to go through some other bins, because I think more of this kit is here somewhere. AMT 2008 Challenger SRT8 - two of these. Enough parts to build one full kit, plus 3/4 of another. Kit is curbside. For the right trade, I could be convinced to include a set of 3D printed wheels/tires, or an engine for these kits. I also have these. The Richard Petty Doge Dart. This came with the Ford Race Hauler. I will never build this car. It is 100% complete, bags unopened. Box is gone, as it included both the truck and the car. All decals are there too. Revell 40th Anniversary Corvette. I found this one used. It's been been opened, but is 100% complete. Hasegawa Toyota Corolla Levin GT Apex Super Strut Suspension. Possibly the longest name ever for a model kit. ANyway, box open, bags sealed, 100% complete. Kind of a unique kit. What am I looking for? Porsches of any description. Volkswagens of any description, but mainly looking for water cooled VW. Tamiya/Fujimi/Hasegawa BTCC or DTM touring cars - Volvo, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, etc Italeri or Fujimi truck kits. No 1/32 stuff. Revell or Fujimi Mercedes 230TE Touring. Yes, the station wagon. ESCI kits - especially the Ford Transit, Mercedes G-Wagen, Mercedes 190 Moebius Ford trucks Chev/GMC trucks - OBS generation (C1500, 454SS, C3500, etc) Airfix Shaun The Sheep - either the tractor or the Land Rover Airfix Wallace and Grommit kit Airfix 1/24 Spitfire I'm open to offers, willing to get creative. Would do multiple kits for the right one in return. And as I mentioned above, I might be willing to 3D print some parts to complete or improve any of these. Oh, and I'm in Canada, so keep that in mind when it comes to shipping.
