janositamas
Hi Guys, let me introduce my pair of Revell R8's here: I built them a little more than a year ago right after release, mostly both of them are box stock. The 1st one is painted white, interior is black w/chocolate brown and I used some CF decals on the sideblades and in the engine bay. I replaced the stock rims with Fujimi AVS Model 5 "18 rims: The 2nd one is painted metallic blue, the interior is black w/tan. I used silver on the sideblades and grilles, added a silver line decal on the lower sides. I also let the taillight lenses clear to give it a 'light-tuner-like' look. Stock rims were replaced with Aoshima Trafficstar RTM "20s: And the 2 brothers: Thanks for watching!
jtwisconsin
I really like the white one with the Fujimi AVS rims. The more I see these built, the more I think I should get one for a future build.
VW Dave
The white one is well done, and the CF really sets the paint off nicely, but I must admit the blue one really speaks to me....and those Aoshima wheels look right at home on it. Nice pair you got there indeed! I've yet to see a real one in person, but I am trying. My buddy Tom is a senior Audi tech at our local dealer, and I keep pestering him to tell me when another new R8 is coming in; they've sold a few already, but none have stayed in stock longer than a day because they have all been pre-ordered(and the new owners apparently can't wait to get their hands on them ). crispy
Really nice! I love the white one as well but really like the wheels on the blue one. They both set off nice. Another clean neat build from you! Chris
fordh8r
I like 'em both. They really look great! On the blue one, Is that rear panel done in BMF or some sorta metalizer? It really makes the paint work.
robertw
And I like them both. Not always a fan of the white bread look but that one is really sharp, the blade eliminates the monotone look and the wheels really set it off. Now where did I put my A8 kit ? robw
ismaelg
Love them! Good job on both of them. Blue is by far my favorite color, but I never thought white would work on this car. I agree with Rob. The blade and the wheels really set it off. Thanks,

janositamas
Thank you Guys, I'm glad you like this pair! fordh8r: I applied some Fujimi decal (rather call it a sticker as it is not waterslide) on the sideblades of the blue R8, which has a texture similar to the heat resistant materials. It looks really cool!
Nick F40
Oh man these are nice! I like the white one BUT I think I like the metallic blue one better The touches are well done and the wheels are so perfect for the R8. I like all your models you build. I luckily got to see a couple all ready, saw one at the Tuner War last Saturday in Harrisburg and got to look at it and sit in it and such, the man was very nice. It was for a dealership. It was black, it looked mean but it had a silver side strip, probably the first i've seen and I like it better. I want to meet this buddy of yours.
