Lyle Willits
These are now available from Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Maryland for the Revell 1/12th scale chopper kits. More items will are being made, such as, a fat tank (like on the Sunchaser bike, etc.) new fenders, etc. 2 different carbs, a stock Harley aircleaner and S&S aircleaner. Reps & Mins has no website. Norm's email is: replmincomd@aol.com or call: 410-768-3648 Yeah, I know this should be under the "resin" category, but I was afraid it wouldn't be seen. USAC_1957
I recognize those parts. Imai made a few Harley-based "hot rod" bikes" a few years ago. I was lucky enough to get a couple from Hobby Link Japan (That's where these pics came from). They're great kits, but, unfortunately, Imai went out of business... LDO
Wow, Bobber. You really had to do some searching to bring up a 6-year old thread. Check with Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland. Also check with a guy from this forum; ModelMartin. He has a company that makes resin parts and kits. At one time he offered a 300mm rear tire for the Revell chopper. It also had a wheel and parts to modify the frame and belt drive.
LDO
Ah. I see you found the ModelMartin tire.
jaydar
Already ordered. This is great because the Imai kit of the FXST lowrider comes with the "Ham Can" AMF air cleaner which, in my opinion, is ugly as sin. joe.
