chevelle69 Posted April 27, 2009 Author Share Posted April 27, 2009 This is what I started with. Jerry Toliver Toyota Celica body. Scott's car is a Solara. Same front end's! I used Aircraft Stripper to remove the paint.Then a coat of gray primer. Then I went and had DHL Yellow put in a rattle can. As far as the decals, I took them off the real car and shrunk them to the size I needed.The DHL on the side and the red strip down the middle of the car were drawn free hand then made into a decal. Four coats of acrylic clearcoat to finish it off. I really enjoyed building this tribute car to Scott!! Dave!!!Very cool lets see more photos Where did you come up with the toyota body and decals ?
