mr moto
I've decided to do a new take on my avatar build. That's the old Glencoe/Lindberg Flying Saucer kit. I think the kit has about 8 parts total but I love it. This time out it gets an engine (Double Trouble early hemi) and there will be body (fuslage?) mods that I haven't done yet. What I have in mind is '59 Caddy tail fins. The original kit has a cockpit about 1/4" deep and only the head and upper torso of E.T.'s uncle so I've opened up the cockpit to full depth. A bucket seat from a Studebaker Avanti fits right in (wouldn't you know it!) and the pilot's head is getting matched up to an old Ulrich Mini-man body. Just havin' some fun with this one! Fletch
Don't it make you wonder when the first 2, no 3 people who respond to this topic are all from Oregon? You never know which tree those little green men are hiding behind. Sometimes, you just have to venture off the beaten path on a build and have fun.
