mackinac359
Revell says it is a model 353, but the 353 never had a tilt hood or those shape of fenders. The kit is really a 359 with pit-style fenders (non factory option). Real 353: There is doubt that any 353's were equipped with sleepers. bridgewatertek
Kostas, love the signature: ...cause we got a great big convoy, rock in through the night. Yeah, we got a great big convoy, ain't she a beautiful sight? Come on and join our convoy, ain't nothing gonna get in our way. We gonna roll this trucking convoy cross the U.S.A. Just watched the movie, the night before last.
Kostas Parchas
10-4, I also love the movie and both with Maximum Overdrive are my favorites! I have also both the Songs (AC/DC Who made who & CW McCall Convoy) in my car, love to hear these two songs while driving. The Convoy song makes me feel what I would like to be: a truck driver in the US. Kostas.
falcongeorge
I have been working on a 353 for years. It kind of stalled because my metal-working skills were not up to snuff to make a decent hood. Recently I have done some other projects that have helped me learn more skills in this area, so I think I am ready to dig it out and take another run at it. The AMT Kenworth Alaskan hauler fenders are quite close if you trim them, turn them around backwards, and remove the tread-plate texture.
