george 53
Ray, I've found that if ya put a bit of regler ol paint thinner on the glue joints, an let it set fer a few , it'll de bond old tube glue without alot of damage. Some guys just wet the model innasink an put it in the icebox and as the water freezes, it'll pop the glue joints too,But I've never tried it to know if it works. Hope this helps. envious8420
ive had alot of luck just freezing the kit in the freezer without water. the cold makes the glue brittle because it doesnt contract at the same rate as the plastic. lettem sit in there over night and in the morn pop them out and go to it. Junkman
I can second the freezer method - without water. Just freeze the model and it almost falls apart by itself.

crazyjim
I agree with the freezer way. Never used water - just put the kit into freezer overnight.
