FASTBACK340
NNL East never fails to amaze me. I've missed the past few years and lost touch with many, but today was a great day. Not only did I get to see MANY people I haven't seen, but I also saw some incredible builds too. First and foremost: Anthony Rios. Wow.... Aside from being a super nice guy, this man can BUILD. His Nomad is jaw-dropping. My crappy photo skills don't do it justice... I know Gregg photographed it. Speaking of Gregg, it was great to see him in attendance. He looked a little wobbly... not sure if he was hurting, hung over, or a touch of both... but it was great seeing you Buddy. It's been too long. There were also a few sobering moments too: my friends Ron & Chiqi recovering from heart issues, friends Rick and Lynn battling debilitating aliments, and everyone else getting older and frailer. Just like me... Here's a link to my Fotki album. The first picture was someone's beautiful new Hemi Challenger in the parking lot. Man does that car push my button... and the last few shots are of a resin phantom I bought from a gentleman wearing a tie-dyed shirt in the back of the left vendors room. It's a `69 Barracuda Sedan Delivery. If anyone knows the person, please forward any info to me. I never got his name or contact, but the piece is pretty nice. Especially for the money. Enjoy! http://public.fotki.com/FASTBACK340/nnl-east-2010/ Password is Models Edited April 18, 2010 by FASTBACK340

Pretty sure Ron Andrews from RMR Resin does that. He was apparently wearing tie dye today from pics i've seen.

Greg Cullinan
Yes plural, cause singular definitely does not do it justice . Seriously though I could not log in unless I used a capital M.

Amy & myself had a really nice time yesterday. It was great seeing everyone. And since this was my first visit to the new location, I think Tri-State deserves a HUGE thank you for continuing with the Greatest Scale Show on Earth. Tom & crew had everything running smoothly from all indications. And the extra room for vendors, exhibitors, and parking was a much appreciated change. Great job guys! As for me being away, don't think it hasn't gnawed at me. Every winter I'd wish I had the work space. Now that we're moving and I'll have room, I'm just easing back into the hobby. Visiting here is kind of like stretching before running. Looking forward to getting back at the workbench. It's been way too long....and I miss it.
