father and daughter build

Recommended Posts

My 10 yr old daughter and I started a model build today. We decided on the 55 Chevy Pickup kit. Tonight she painted the frame. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Father Daughter builds are always a good time.

My two daughters used to build with me, and now that they are grown.

And I now have a Grandson from one of them, I can't wait for a Grandpa Grandson build in a few years! :)

It got to a point where the local club in St Louis eagerly anticipated my daughter's builds. Every year at the contest they'd ask her if "what's his name" drove her there. I couldn't have been prouder.

Good times

My girl likes to get a little bench time with daddy too. She's doing some good nipper work right here:

Great bonding time and helps to teach patience. Pic is my (at the time) 14 year old building a Dodge Charger police car.

I agree it is good bonding time, with any of your children. I too hope that one day I will be able to share such qualities with my own children If I ever get the chance to have any. The Patience building part of it especially :) .

Great photo .. Doctor Model and her hemostat. <_<

My daughter never caught the model bug, but her excitement over my building a van she had is worth it all.

I have to wait a while, as our little guy is almost 2, but I'm looking forward to a few father/son builds in the future. <_<
