rlz58
I am really pleased to find a newly opened HobbyTown USA store close to my home.In these economic times I am surprised that someone would open a new store, but I'm really glad they did.I talked to the owner today and he said business was very good. Now I don't have to drive 60 miles to get supplies. ra7c7er
The 60 mile drive to get supplies is exactly why they opened. All of the Hobby towns here in St. Louis have closed since the economy tanked but there are several local shops they couldn't compete with. Nice to see shops opening anywhere though. I live right next to belleville, IL and there is probably on of the last Model only shops in the states. They only carry Revell and AMT car models but carry just about everything military, air, ship, etc. It's an interesting shop that when you walk in looks like you are going back in time a couple decades.
