Terry Sumner Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 I'm having surgery tomorow myself but when I read things like this it reminds me how minor mine is! I had 4 kids...2 boys and 2 girls so I know how you feel. There's nothing so heavy on a parent's heart and mind as when one of their children is in such a situation. I believe because it's totally out of your hands and you are just a bystander while others care for your child. And since that job is yours, it's very hard to have to stand by and let others step in.
