SteveG
Just posted on Spotlight, looks like Round 2 is seriously considering this. M&H Parts Pack from Round 2 I think it would be cool to get a set or two. I hope there's enough interest that they'll do this. -Steve Edited May 18, 2011 by SteveG
Foxer
I'd be right in line for those.
charlie8575
If they do some street tires, too, narrow and wide-whitewall, I'll buy multiple sets. Charlie Larkin
paul alflen
JOHN G, AT ROUND 2, GO FOR IT!!I'LL BUY AS MANY AS I CAN GET!!!!!!!!!!!!
jw78z28
WOW super cool guys. I missed the days of parts packs, born to late. I hope this goes into production and we get a few other new parts packs.
Chuck Most
John from Round 2 mentioned they were considering this about a year or so ago, and yes, I would buy several sets of 'em! Stop sitting on it and make it happen, Round 2!
Guest
I really hope they do go through with this! I'll be up for three or four sets to start with!
Chuck Most
Judging from the responses I'm seeing so far, looks like a go!
Eshaver
First , this is nothing but a win - win for customers who bought , built and now have completed A M T kits that were retailed in the mid to late 1990's . How many times were we buying the aftermarket white walls from the cottage vendors ? I know I would be in line to buy several sets just to brighten up the older A M T / Racing Champion kits I have built as stockers or in diorama scenes ........ Erik Smith
Very cool! I would like to see more tires available as well - thin line whitewalls, etc. I would buy this pack.
62rebel
seeing as my rapidly diminishing tire stash is... well, diminishing; i'd buy some repop tires also. i'd like to have some of the MPC "polyglas radials" from the mid '70's also.... replacing "no-name" kit tires with good tires from my stash has been painful, as some of the ones i've used are darn near impossible to replace. Chuck Most
I've let Round 2 know EXACTLY how I feel about availability of this product! I already have plans for those 'red line' slicks!
Casey
I think this Parts Pack set of M&H slicks would be a great idea. These are perhaps the best part of the Double Dragster and Double T kits.
RancheroSteve
I'm no expert on the economics of the model car industry, but I think this could be a growing market for the model companies. A lot of us have commented on the fact that we have enough kits to last us a few lifetimes of building, or that we're out of room for more kits, but an attractive package of cool parts (we all know that tires and wheels can make a model) seems like a winner, especially for the adult market. I would also think that lower tooling costs (and in many cases the use of existing tooling) would factor into the equation. Racephoto1
Great for old Super Stock models, and with just a little work, also good for old pavement roundy round models. I'd buy a bunch with no hesitation.
horsepower
OOOooooooooo! please excuse the drool on the page, this is just one of the cool things that Round2 could do for us in the line of "parts only"
Erik Smith
I emailed R2 and let them know I would buy this parts pack - we all should let them know that, yes, this is a good idea.
berr13
I'd be in for a bunch...they'd look perfect on those '60s street racers and drag projects.

Bernard Kron
Can someone post a picture or something. I can't get on the site for some reason. This is still in the planning stages, and your comments are welcome. No release date or price has been established, but they would try to keep it under $10.00. The pack would contain 4 pairs of the retooled "pie crust" slicks, each with a different pad-print style as follows: 1. Racemaster Dragster lettering 2. Whitewall with Racemaster Dragster lettering 3. Wide whitewall 4. EXCLUSIVE TO THE PARTS PACK: Whitewall with red pinstripe Style 4 will never be found in a kit, it can only be obtained by buying the parts pack. Rob Hall
Interesting... I don't need any slicks, would like to see them do a set of vintage street whitewalls and raised-white letter tires.
