Harry P.
Remember, don't post the answer or any hints here. PM me with year, make and model. The answer: 1947-1948 Isotta Fraschini 8C Monterosa

Jim Gibbons
I have to admit to being beyond stumped. I'm guessing it's an Asian retro showcar design (in light of the RHD), but other than that, forget it. Not a particularly pleasing design, especially the front end, IMHO. Kind of looks like a '48 Buick, Hudson, Muntz, Chrysler Thunderbolt, and a Mercedes were tossed in a blender.

Harry P.
Looks like this one was too hard! Only 4 people got it right. The car is a 1947-48 Isotta Fraschini 8C Monterosa. It was the end of the line for the Isotta Fraschini make... after this "last gasp" they packed it in as far as cars go. Who got it right: modelmartin maltsr Ryan S. Badluck 13 That's all, folks! Thanks to Mike McElligott for the photo... if this one was too hard you can blame him!
george 53
it LOOKS like the little car that mouse character drove in the kiddie movie about the couple who adopted a mouse. Yeah, I saw it.
MikeMc
I thought the "shaved" look was cool....I like the cabriolet better than the sedan! http://www.autowp.ru/picture/415288 Edited July 1, 2011 by MIKE THE MANIAC
MikeMc
I have to admit that this is the first Auto ID subjects that I can honestly say I've never...ever...seen before. Nice work stumping the band! That shocks me Mark! You are usually the bandleader!!
MikeMc
I seriously had no clue. I looked at it Tuesday, again Wednesday, and thought "I'ma give up now." Nice find! Its really Harrys call....I sent him a few, and sent that later.....he wanted it!.....I think he still has a few others left....
Jim Gibbons
Man, I was way off! Wouldn't have guessed this at all. I still say it isn't a particularly pleasing design. I guess it's proof that a last gasp can be unpleasant.
Modelmartin
I guess it confirms my auto history nerdiness. I knew what it was right away and just looked up the proper name for it. It was a big car and it was rear engined!
george 53
I STILL think it looks like "Stewart Little's" car to me. The coupe even has a hole in it for his little mouse ears!!!
