Bimbo Bakery Drom Tractor

Recommended Posts

Drom is short for "dromedary" as in the carrier mounted on a camel.

Big rig neophyte question- what the heck is a drom?

The front and rear wheels are from Jamie at Mo'Luminum. The lift axle.. I'm not sure who I got those from.

Tim

Oh yeah i remember checkin out the first one some time ago. This one came out great!!!Front wheels looks great, what brand are all the wheels?

I know that company! Their step vans are always at the Mexican food stores in the area!

Bimbo is the largest bakery in Mexico, one of the largest companies in Mexico, and has been busy buying up U.S. competitors for several years.

Yeah, I forgot to post that I really like these builds of Tim's, too!

I guess I just take for granted (which I shouldn't) that it goes without saying: 'Super nice build, as always, Tim!!'

Looks great Tim. I see those trucks just about every time I haul around the Euegene Oregon area. I also see the Franz bakery 362 droms and truck and double trailers. just a little note for you. There is a gyppo log trucker around here that has one of the old Bimbo bakery 362s and he is hauling short logs with it. He said it makes a great short logger. just thought you wouyld be interested in that little sid note.
