Ha, snow shovels. Have not seen them in a long time. Hope you don't need them too much and don't overdo if you do !

I used them a bit this past February after I closed on the house (didn't finish my move in fully until June).   It was weird using them, I hadn't shoveled snow in 30 years since I was a teenager..

I still have this Chevy S10 as my daily driver. When I started looking for a daily driver, I knew it had to be American, rear wheel drive and with steel bumpers... Otherwise it would be too new. This fit the criteria, but I had modify it before I started driving it, as some of the previous owners had lowered this car and it had a wide flat black stripe running in the middle of the hood, roof and tailgate...

As you can see on the first picture some rust spots always start showing through the paint during the winter (Stupid road salt!). So every spring the rust has to be removed and those areas need to be painted with primer and then with body color...As done before taking the other two pics.

I've posted it here before, but here's an update on it. 1990 Chevy Astro EXT. It's my year round daily/show car/beater. I was brought home from the hospital as a newborn in this thing. I've rebuilt it from the ground up over this last year. It's been re-powered with a newly rebuilt 350 SBC in place of the 4.3 V6 that spun a bearing a little over a year ago. Last pic is from where we swapped the complete subframe. Second to last pic is at a local car show, most people there freaked when I said it had a 350 rather than the old V6.

Don’t know if this counts but it is currently the only thing that I have that moves under its own power.

It my high performance racing machine. craftsman  LT2000 with a high performance 724cc Briggs&stratton v-twin making 22HP with open headers with a 6” pulley of the motor and a 4” on the 5 speed transaxle with a welded diff that spins the 20”x10” rear tires, it’s got a custom painted racing stripe, lowered seat for better center of gravity and a homemade throttle on the steering wheel. I just built it this year and it took home 2nd place in the last race I did. It is going to undergoing a total redo due to the fact that half the differential is a pile of metal at the bottom of the transaxle and it was part of a 3 mower pileup in the last race and wrecked the front end and bent the hood.

Well, unfortunately they are, and they use it a lot at least here in the Southern Finland...<_< The best days in the winter are those when it's so cold that the road salt doesn't work. Of course the roads are very slippery then, but then we just have to drive carefully... And we can be happy that there is none of that disgusting road salt all over the chassis.

Oh dear. Nice.

3.0t I see on the side?

I tried to talk me wife into a G37X coupe years ago - but, since my head touched the rear window in the back seat I couldn’t convince her it was right for the family.

Erik thanks, it has Nissans new 3.0 twin turbo engine, a bit under rated at 400 hp. I fell in love with it when I saw it in person. Back seat is for groceries only, too small for humans but I dont mind. Probably the most amazing paint Ive seen on a factory vehicle. Very happy with it so far.
