I don't do service work, but I like service trucks. I also have a 1965 C10 Chevy, and I ride a 1996 Honda Goldwing SE. The school bus in the picture has been sold, and that is not my barn. Foxer Posted July 4, 2019 Share Posted July 4, 2019 I just traded my 3 year old VW GTI for a 2019 VW Golf R. I was tired of the front tires spinning every time a started from a standstill. 220 hp is still too much for FWD. Everything else about the car I loved, except for the FRD getting me up my snow covered drive. The Golf R has all wheel drive, the cure for everything GTI! It also has another 70HP from the same 2 liter Four. As usual, VW has made this more than the sum of it's improvements and the much tightened suspension is more road compliant than the GTI was ,, how do they do this? .. oh.. Active Suspension is how. The motor is a 400 with a C6 and a NP 203 full time 4x4 (I will be swapping it out for a NP 205) The tires are 37x13R16.5 super swampers.
